I was born in Jamaica, raised in Newmarket [google that] and currently living in Downtown Toronto. I attended University of Toronto, got a degree and have tried very hard to do absolutely nada with it.*smile* I love music, fashion, movies, costumes, and especially my family and friends. I'm obsessed with bberries, travel, candy red nail polish and learning about anything. I'm addicted to sky high heels (louboutin and ysl please), reading books, champagne, cupcakes, Brazen Hussy, freshly baked bread with salted butter and run on sentences. I'm allergic to line ups, self- proclamation, cold weather, seafood and mean people.
Eva aka Lowe, aka Sunshine, aka Flava. These are the nicknames I've been given, all significant for various reasons. Formerly a professional dancer, I took entertainment business in college, and have worked with recording artists, stylists, clothing lines because I didn't know exactly what I wanted to do so I just learned it all. Welcome to my crazy life of partying, on a couch, with no shoes on in some random city with a glass of champagne [its my blood transfusion] in one hand and my Bberry in another while I meanmugg the night away!
My girl Lissa put me onto this site and now I want EVERYTHING!!!! Here is a sample of my ever-growing wish list:

I’m headed to Disney World today! I’ve never been and I have to admit I’m a little nervous. If you’ve read my ‘about me’ you’ll know that I’m allergic to line-ups and as it’s July 4th weekend I’m sure there will be plenty… I love fun stuff though and am obsessed with Disney so I’m sure I’ll find a way to tame my allergies. Stay tuned for updates from The Magic Kingdom!!!
Have any of you been there? Any must see’s or any advice?

The author from our fave book right now -Ambition Is Not A Dirty Word- left another comment yesterday and I wanted to share it with you guys as I don’t think all of you check the comments. I found it very insightful.
“A favorite quote: “What would happen if one woman told the truth about her life? The world would split open.” -Muriel Rukeyser.
What I appreciate about working with and interviewing so many women is that it affords me the great privilege of learning something new every day (sometimes every hour) from the stories they share. Once we start talking to each other, we realize, “Hey, I’m not the only one going through this. I’m not a freak. And my ambition is the best of who I am. I’m going to go for my dreams.”
Ambitious women often isolate. We don’t always ask for help because we think it will make us look weak. Break the isolation! Form your own informal advisory board. Any time I’m having a hard day or week or month (hey, last year was hard–the whole thing), I force myself to pick up the phone and call one or two of my trusted peers or colleagues. It always helps. Even a five-to-ten minute conversation can help get me unstuck and inspire me to forge ahead.
Getting support for learning practical, nuts and bolts ways that we as ambitious women can earn our worth and fulfill our career dreams -— with integrity, and without sacrificing our personal goals — is a smart and easy strategy. We just have to tell each other our stories, our truths.”
Thanks again Debra! You are such an inspiration!!!!

I’m sure Coco has told you all about this before but a long time ago it was her dream to be able to get a mani during the long tedious waiting time before boarding a plane. Terminal 1 of Toronto’s YYZ has a 10 minute mani place close to where you board your plane!
Kiki and I saw this on our way to Las Vegas where we’ve been maxing and relaxing in luxury! We’re staying at Mandalay Bay and last night we went to LAX in the Luxor! The music was amazing and the place was packed.
Here’s our gallery:
Eeeek. Sorry y’all! We’ll take lots of pics tonight

When I think of Miami I think of sunshine, beaches, party time, beautiful people and Remero Britto. Last year when Mimi, Kiki, Lowe and I went down looking for buyers for Brazen, we were walking on Lincoln and were drawn into this beautiful gallery that was displaying all of this magical artwork that we had seen all over Miami since we had been there. The gallery was famed pop artist Romero Britto’s. We instantly fell for his colourful, oversized, jovial pieces. His art makes you happy just like the sun.
Now the world’s most famous Pop Artist, having been compared to legends like Andy Warhol and Keith Haring, Britto’s humble beginnings as a child of 8 living in Brazil may be a distant memory, but a memory that has made all of this possible. Britto’s insistence on the accessibility of art has made him an artistic activist stating that ‘art is too important not to share.’ Although not everyone can have the pleasure of owning a Britto original, the fact that his art is displayed in public spaces all over Miami bears truth to his beliefs.
“For me, art can reflect the celebration of the simple and the good things in life. This is most important to me!” Romero Britto

I love eyeliner but am (unlike Lowe) soooo terrible at applying it. I need the easiest versions and have finally found it.
L’Oreal’s Lineur Intense in Carbon Black. Lowe introduced me to it (obvi) but it is so excellent because the tip is precise yet flexible and feels just like a pen in your hand.
I like the ‘Carbon Black’ better than the ‘Black Mica’ because the colour is so dark and -I might be making this up- the applicator feels more sturdy. The best part about it is its under $10 and you can get it at your local drug store!!
I have yet to master Lowe’s ‘tick’ but I’m workin on it
