tuned-in: sand artist proves ukraine’s got talent
1 word: WOW. After watching this a of Ukraine’s Got Talent Winner, Kseniya Simonova, I was blown away.
The words that came to mind were:
Culture, Beauty, Emotion, Art, History, War, Simplicity, Creativity, Expression,
This cute little 24-year-old brought the judges and audience to tears by recounting Germany conquering Ukraine in WW2. She mixes peace and war, music and art, all with a glowing countertop and a pile of sand. The story she tells brings you through love, seperation, loss, war and ends with her subtitling the final scene “you are always near”. I can’t even understand Ukrainian and I started to tear!
Take a look:
A visual masterpiece! What do you guys think of this? Have you ever seen anything like this before?

No I have not seen anything like this before and I am blown away. Humans are fascinating creatures that can even make dusty sand look elegant.
