tuned-in: this is it
Last night, I went to see Michael Jackson’s ‘This Is It’. It’s a montage of footage originally taken for his personal library but has now been released to show the lead up to what was supposed to be MJ’s comeback tour.

All I can say is WOW.
You can tell that everyone who made the tour from dancer to musician, even lighting and production is honored to have been chosen to be a part of such history in the making and everyone treats Michael with the upmost respect. Although he is a perfectionist, the way in which he goes about getting what he wants is in such a respectful manor. He is truly the best and knows his music, choreography and timing to the millisecond and when it comes to helping others get to his level, he does is with compassion and the desire to make them better. The entire cast and crew must be devastated given they were set to start their last leg of rehearsals in London just days after Michael’s death. One dancer you see in the auditions is Canada’s own, Natali Reznik from So You Think You Can Dance Canada.

'Why, Why' rehearsal with Kenny Ortega
When entertainers say they are most peaceful when on stage performing, you really understand where they’re coming from when you watch this movie. I highly suggest you go see This Is It for inspiration and understanding of what goes into concerts and tours of this size. I have so much respect for the work ethic and drive these people have as well as the artistry and larger-than-life ideas that are created when great minds come together as Michael’s and Kenny Ortega’s did. Kenny Ortega has been choreographing since 1985 and was creative director and choreographer for the tour.
Have you seen ‘This Is It’? If so, what did you think of the movie, Michael and the tour?
I give this documentary:

xoxo,
Lowe

It was sheer brillance!! This show was to be something those lucky enought to witness would have never forgotten. I found my heart going out to all of the individuals involved because you knew that they were completely living out their dream. I was especially touched by all of the young dancers who traveled from all over the world to audition for the King of Pop. This Is It was truly amazing!

I went to see this movie with my mother and she is a huge fan of Michele Jackson. I cried during the movie and I can not still believe that he is not with us. He caught the world with sweet voice and marvelous dancing styles.

I saw this movie last night and cried through the whole thing. He was such an amazing person, his presence was remarkable and I was in a theatre watching him, imagine if we were really there with him!! He was such a humble and funny man and never got angry, he was firm, but never got upset. I could watch him all day. I did not want to leave the theatre. Can’t wait to buy this on DVD. And his blazers and leather jackets were on point!! Love him!
P.S. “Why, Why” is not the name of the song btw, it’s “Human Nature”
