The Toronto Star reported this morning that Alexander McQueen had passed away. Fighting back tears his communications manager told The Star “He was awesome. He was the best” “We’re devastated”.
The Daily Mail reported at 10am that Alexander McQueen had committed suicide, inside his apartment. McQueen’s mother had passed away a week earlier and it seems that he was having a tough time with it via his twitter page “been a —ing awful week but my friends have been great but now I have to some how pull myself together.â€
We wish his family and friends all the best, RIP

very sad. i think he was a creative genius and kind of ahead of his time.
