It’s been a long day of travels between Paris and London. Changed flights, delayed flights etc etc. but I definitely couldn’t go to bed without wishing my other half, Coco, a very happy birthday!

New beginnings and new destinations mark the start of this year! I miss you and can’t wait to tell you all of the inside jokes we have from our European trip! Dude, it’s been non stop laughter.

Lowe is one of my besties and one of the most amazing women in the world! We are similar in many ways but the ways we are different are what make me admire her the most. Lowe has little to no fear, she can go out by herself, travel by herself and even move to a different country all on her lonesome. She has zero problem walking up to a complete stranger and having a full on conversation with them. *shudder* I am so incredibly shy that I get hives at the mere thought of talking to strangers. In most situations she doesn’t care what people think of her and will speak on it when she feels necessary. She has no problem saying ‘no’ and works so hard on everything she does. She is shiny and bright and much funnier than she thinks she is. Her smile is like sunshine and loyalty is unwavering.
I love you Lowe and thank my lucky stars everyday that you found me
Mimi is one of my best friends in the whole wide world! We have been through so much together. We’ve had our hearts broken together, worked 3 jobs together, went to elementary, secondary and post secondary school together, fallen for John Mayer together, traveled together, basically we’ve done everything together!! Mimi is beautiful, strong, sweet and most importantly, she is by far the funniest person I know. I love you Mimi and can’t wait to see what the next 30 years have in store for us!
One of these days when my sis stops being lazy (just kiddin I know you’re in law school and all) she is going to be one of our guest bloggers! She is by far one of the funniest people I know and when I went on her blog today I died laughing so since she has yet to write anything for us I decided to steal. She is also soooo good at reminding me of things we used to LOVE. Like Vanilla Ice and his most excellent movie “Cool As Ice”. My two favorite lines: “Lookie, lookie, lookie in Cat’s black bookie” and “Drop that zero and get with the hero”. Classic. Here is a Cool As Ice tribute I found:
In the scene below we explore the new love between Vanilla and Cat. She wears a sun dress. He wears combat boots, striped short overalls, a tank top (and sometimes no top) but most importantly a leather jacket with words like ‘Danger’ and ‘Sex Me Up and Down’ written on it. Fantastic.
Oh and Naomi Campbell is in it tooooooo! She sings and performs a song?!? Yup.
She also reminded me of a song we used to LOVE. OMG AM 640!!!
