Dry skin will be the death of me.  That and salt stains on new boots….  I’m not the biggest fan of winter – if it isn’t already abundantly clear – and those two reasons, plus a collection of others are exactly why.  Because of this deep seeded dislike, I’ve been forced to find ways to help survive the perils of peeling skin and green complexions.  Thankfully Clinique has come up with something that is right up my scaled-skin alley, Moisture Surge. 

I’ve been using Moisture Surge this winter to fix my dry spots and even though the weather has been a pretty mild version of what were used to, this product was also ideal when travelling – nothing dehydrates you more than flying.  If you’re planning a winter getaway or have winter dry skin issues (like me), Moisture Surge is where it’s at.

Love it when it gets to around 1:39 and is all Sting like.  Amazing-ness.  The second version is so inventive and weird, I love it.  Especially the guy on the end that is basically the tuner of the whole deal.  If it was a real band where they had their own instruments he would so run the triangle.

Mint is my colour inspiration this week.  The perfect cool compliment to your sun-kissed summer skin.  Teaming it with creamy nudes, warm browns and a bright punch of orange or pink on the lips couldn’t be more perfect!
