Lowe and I along with some Toronto’s most exciting bloggers were asked to be a part of Polysh Magazine’s Spring issue. It was a super fun shoot with some of our favorite people!

Over the holidays I checked out Vegas, had a ridiculous delay in LA (18 hours) and spent a couple bliss filled days in Cabo San Lucas.
here are some of the pics:
i thought NY went all out on the xmas deco... nobody does it bigger than vegas
nye dins at charlie palmer

off to cabo... or so i thought...
this view of my fave place on the universe-the bev hills hotel- was like an oasis after 10hrs at LAX
heaven or Esperanza…
Esperanza is an Auberge Resort and is one of the smaller boutique style hotel/resorts in Cabo San Lucas. It has around 70 rooms each with a clear view of the Sea of Cortez and a private infinity hot tub.

A night on the town!

and that’s all.
Cabo is a blast. It’s super laid back and kinda feels like a little surfer town – flip flops are almost mandatory…. If you’re looking to avoid the huge club, lots of air conditioning vibe of Cancun, I highly recommend Cabo San Lucas.
Flip flops, head scarf, bright jewelry and Punchy Pink Essie polish on my nails – check!!!
I decided to take a last minute trip to Jamaica! The best thing about this vacay is that I will get to experience Jamaica as a local, not a tourist. I’m super excited to share my trip with you through pics and video when I get back on Thursday.
Until then, here’s a video of the equivilent of me channeling my inner child LOL! This song is stuck in my head:
Last night Lowe and I were some of the lucky few to see New Moon before it officially opened in Canada today. The event was put on by American Express and it was amazing! It took place at The Winter Garden Theatre which perfectly set the stage for this romantic roller coaster! I don’t want to give too much away (and if you’re a die hard fan, you’ve read the books and already know what happens) but the movie was action packed and I’m happy to announce that Bella’s breathlessness was kept to a minimum! I’m still undecided if I’m team Jacob or team Edward though…. Edward sparkles in the sunshine (I love sparkles) and Jacob has a body like a bronzed god! lol He’s not really 16 is he? If he is, I swear I’m not a pedophile… Here are some pics:
the perfect setting, the winter garden theatre
Our girl Ashley!! xoxo
Blake McGrath made an appearance
Billy Burke (Charlie) and Justin Chon (Eric) did a little pre-movie interview

Lowe munchin on some American Express Popcorn!
I luv press passes!
Thanks to American Express for putting on such a stellar event! You guys should have seen the after party! Food and goodies for days! We were so caught up we forgot to take pics…. lol
Are you going to watch it? If you already have, what did you think?
I’m in San Fran having a blast! It’s pretty cold here but for once I’m not letting it ruin my time because this place is so insanely gorge!! I’ve been doing what I usually do, exploring the city by roving the streets on the heel toe express courtesy of my trusty Chuck Taylors.
The Fisherman’s Warf is amazing especially because there are Sea Lions!!
Went up to Haight Ashbury and ended up at Golden Gate Park
Walked around Castro and signed some petitions to help legislate gay marriage and saw some interesting treats
I love California and LOVE San Francisco!! It’s breathtaking!!!
Stay tuned for more from my driving tour of California. Next stop Monterey!

We visit Vegas a lot, but Coco & Lowe’s birthday weekend getaway was quite a different experience!! Rando-dando at it’s best, here are pics from all the fun, adventurous places we went to!
We stayed at The Venetian which is always convenient, especially because our first night, we went to Tao Nightclub and when we were ready to go home, all we had to do was take the elevator up!
My suite!
After settling in, we headed right on down to the pool area and found our way into the daytime partytime that is Tao Beach!
Insanarama!!
Take note of couple behind Coco...
They were having the time of their LIVES!! At Tao beach, you can find every type of person jamming away to all different types of music. If you’re ready to party hard, Tao is the spot. I still can’t get over the Vodka, Red Bull slushies!!
For dinner, we stuck to what we love. MIX in The Hotel!
Mix dining room is gorge!
The view from their 64th floor patio is breathtaking!
Instead of heading straight to the club, we decided to venture off the strip and head downtown Las Vegas, where the lights are bright and the outfits are not right! LOL We had never been to this part of town and it was crazy!!
The Fremont Street Experience
Umm...no thanks!
We then headed over to the Playboy Club in The Palms for a little gambling and some eye candy. Except what got our attention more than the bunnies was this ancient couple wildin’ out on the dance floor!! They were amazing!!
I wish we had a better camera because you just had to see her face! And the wig was a classic! Plus her dude dancing behind her was TDF!!! They were having the time of their lives!!
Bathroom wallpaper = Nekked Playmates
Then it was off to Rio’s Voodoo bar.
It’s also quite high in the sky and the view from up there is awesome!
I drink (aka 3oz) was our max per place!
Tao time!!!
The party ended with me on a riser acting like a gogo dancer, and Coco playing dress up by stealing someone’s hat… what else is new…
Saturday was jam packed! We started out at the pool and then went over to The Gun Store to see what shooting an M-16 feels like. EEEK!!
Check out some video of us attempting to shoot our targets
Coco & Lowe shoot guns for the first time! eeeeek!
We were soooo freaked out! The sound of gunfire is earth shattering, we totally couldn’t get used to it… What we learned from that experience is that guns are anything but toys. We have always believed that guns should be illegal and even have a hard time with hunting as a sport. We have seen first hand the impact that guns have had on our community and totally think that something should be done over and above what is happening now. Coco almost started crying when she first heard the gunfire and we were so amazed that you were allowed to even hold a gun around complete strangers. I kept thinking, all someone has to do is turn around a start aiming….. *shudder* Needless to say, it was a life changing experience and if you or anyone you know wants to learn more about guns and how dangerous and powerful they are, The Gun Store is a great place. The staff are so well trained and are willing to answer all of your questions at length.
Then it was off to New York, New York to shake off the negative shooting vibes by singing a few of our favorite songs with the guys of Dueling Pianos! Soooo fun!
requesting a song!
That night (aka an hour and a half later) we headed over to a few rock bars off the strip, one being ‘The Double Down Saloon’ Amazing!
Then it was over to LAX for some champers and some dancing!
At this point we are pretty much ready to fall over and die. FUN OVERLOAD!!!
It was a crazy two days that we will never forget, but I think we can both admit that we couldn’t wait to get home and snuggle into our own beds for some much needed zzzzzz’s!
xoxo,
lowe

I’m headed to Disney World today! I’ve never been and I have to admit I’m a little nervous. If you’ve read my ‘about me’ you’ll know that I’m allergic to line-ups and as it’s July 4th weekend I’m sure there will be plenty… I love fun stuff though and am obsessed with Disney so I’m sure I’ll find a way to tame my allergies. Stay tuned for updates from The Magic Kingdom!!!
Have any of you been there? Any must see’s or any advice?
