Last Thursday Lowe and I attended The Bay Contemporary Launch at their Queen St location. We hadn’t been to The Bay since it’s revamp and all I can say is WOWZA! I was so shocked/elated when I saw the all of the different lines (including Balmain and Alaia) that graced the beautifully renovated White Space.

If you haven’t been I urge you to check it out! Feels like the tide is starting to turn in the Toronto fashion scene!
We then headed over to our favorite spot -Nyood- for the after-party. To our pleasant surprise they screened a cool short film of a photo shoot for The Bay styled by Drew. It was very impressive!

Despite the terrible weather, we had an absolute blast last Thursday at our 20’s themed Social Register event. After we filled our tummies with delicious dinner, DJ Lissa Monet had us boogie-ing down until the break of dawn. Thank you to everyone who weathered the storm and made it out to Nyood.
Stay tuned for our next installation of The Social Register, dinner.music.dancing FASHION WEEK EDITION at Nyood March 25th.
For single people, Valentine’s Day really reinforces the fact that you are, well, single. Online dating may be a hard concept to grasp and if you’re shy, speed dating is the equivalent to throwing yourself to the wolves. Thierry Lifestyle has created an amazing event called Bring Me A Date and I had to let all you singles know about this awesome concept!
HOW IT WORKS:
You’re single.
You have a friend of the opposite sex who’s single.
You attend Bring Me A Date together and mix and mingle with other ‘friend couples’ who are serious about finding a mate. The idea of going with a friend is such a great way to take the pressure off!
As CEO of Thierry Lifestyle, Terry Kwaramba puts it, “I remember when my female friends would remark that they thought I was such a great guy and that they wished they could introduce me to some of their single girl friends. So it occurred to me one day that we should try to bring together those single women and these ‘great guys’ that they can’t seem to find but that other women know. That is how the “Bring Me A Date” idea was born and I am proud to introduce it to the single women of Toronto”.
WHEN: February 21st, 2010
WHERE: Mood Lounge in Yorkville
TIME: 6pm-9pm
TICKETS: Go To www.thierryent.com *you won’t be able to purchase at the door*
Be open minded and attend this event as a way to socialize in a comfortable environment where no one is judging you. Plus, if it doesn’t work out, you still got to go out with a good friend, win some prizes, enjoy some h’ors d’oeuvres and live jazz music!!
We had so much fun at our anniversary party so we thought we’d make it a monthly thing! Every last Thursday of each month you can join us – the coco & lowe fam – at Nyood to experience one of our cities only real ’supper club’ experiences.
This year we thought we would take you on a journey through time. Each month will have a different theme being based around various members of the elite in American High Society who have at one time or another graced the pages of the legendary Social Register. Beginning with the decade that the word ’socialite’ was coined, on February 25th we will transform Nyood into a sneaky ’speakeasy’ and dance the night away in our flapper styled fashions.
Our intention with coco & lowe’s Social Register is to create our own collection of like minded people who enjoy good people, good food and most of all good times!
