My really good friend Carly and her dude Jesse just dropped their Spring 09 collection and its amazing!! They use super soft organic cotton and pay sooo much attention to detail its sick! I remember sitting Carly’s room in NY watching her do her assignments and see her get so excited about her work, tirelessly doing it over and over and over again until it was perfect. Needless to say all of the hard work has paid off, their stuff is amazing and everyone wants it! Trove has taken Hollywood by storm! Here are some pics from spring ‘09 and some celeb fans!

To one of my great friends Alain, happy birthday and best in 2009! I met Alain working in the Guess store back in 1999 in O-town my hometown…yes people it’s been 10 years of friendship! In the ten years I’ve known him, he’s been quite an inspiration. I learned a lot from his journey to success; modeling, event coordinating, clothing design, marketing etc. Thank you for being such a great influence during the past 10 years of my life!!!

Me & Sister Love with out pimp Uhaul
The whole independant woman, I can do it myself attitude doesn’t work very well when you’re holding a 300 pound couch 3times your size. LOLZ! My sister moved yesterday and we thought we could do it ourselves, until we realized how much stuff she had. I asked two guy-friends to come help and it was done within two hours. Hiring movers can get super expensive but hiring friends usually only costs you a pizza and a case of beer. So, when you need to move remember, asking for help may be the hardest part but somebody will be kind enough to lend a helping hand. Thanks BG and Josh for all your help!
Later on last night, we all headed over to our mutual friend Natasha’s birthday at the Fox and Fiddle on Bloor. Not my typical hang out spot but OMG did I have some great laughs! It was my first time at Karaoke and although I didn’t sing, there were some super funny/amazing performances that had me singing, cheering and dancing. By the end of the night my cheeks hurt from smiling for so long!!!

So sad, but super proud and happy for my little sister, she recently got into law school but unfortunately its in London, England. boo hoo! Well at least I will have a better excuse to use my British passport… I don’t think she could have picked a bette place for her post post secondary education, what with a pub and a cute little english boy on every corner! Her little whimsical dream come true!! My sister and I share obsessions with headbands, never nudes (see Tobias from Arrested Development) France, Girl Talk, champers, reality TV and sunshine. She is my guide to everything new and fun the music world has to offer and is one of the sweetest, funniest, most dependable and adorable people I know and am soooo lucky to have her as my little sis A.KA. Sister Sledge. Will miss you terribly little sis, but know you will kill it over there!!! Can’t wait to visit!!
