Over 80 stars gathered yesterday at Jim Henson studios to record a new version “We Are The World.” Quincy Jones and Lionel Richie teamed up to produce the new version of the 1985 hit “We Are the World” all in support of the victims of Haiti’s Earthquake.
Artists included: Kanye West, Jonas Brothers, Snoop Dogg, Lil Wayne, Pink, Justin Bieber, Usher, Jennifer Hudson, Celine Dion, Barbra Streisand, Wyclef, Gladys Knight, Akon, Mya, Brandy, Robin Thicke, Tyrese, Trey Songz, Jamie Foxx, Toni Braxton, Kid Cudi, LL Cool J, Keri Hilson, Will.I.Am and many more
The song will air for the first time on February 12 on US TV channel NBC. It will be shown during the coverage of the opening ceremony of the Vancouver Winter Olympics.
