I’ll make this short and verrrrrry sweet! YSL Volupte Sheer Candy is the name and sheer, glossy, candy-coloured hues is apparently the game! It looks like candy, sounds like candy [with yummy names like 'Lush Coconut' and 'Dewy Papaya'] and smells like candy [amazing mango scent!].
YSL lipstick IS the business and I’ve had the golden pleasure of owning a couple in my day and it’s worth every penny; but with a price tag of $30 USD, pick your fave and work it out! It’s your spring/summer pick-me-up .. every lady needs one =)

As you may or may not know, I am in love with Lanvin – correction Alber Elbaz. I believe he is a true genius and really cultivates when he designs. He has been quoted saying “I’m not a cool designer and Lanvin is not a cool brand.” A modest and humble creator that has a deep burning passion for art.
So who doesn’t love the infused visions of the 2009 and Fall 2008 collections? Or the lovely homage to YSL with le smoking double breasted dress?
I was thoroughly excited when H&M announced their newest collaboration (November 23rd!) (In my opinion, the most fashion forward/luxurious brand to ever collab with H&M to date) and I was even more thrilled this morning when I saw that they posted a sneak peek of what we can expect from their joint efforts. As well as on November 2nd, they will release a short film online, IÂ believe to show more of the collection and obvi to keep the suspense building and our credit cards clear!
So I ask, will you be in H&M on November 23rd?

Every once in a while there comes a designer that really makes you get EXCITED about clothes and the direction Fashion is going and the talent inside some people. Alber Elbaz for Lanvin absolutely does it for me in the high-end category, but the contemporary award most definitely goes to Alexander Wang …*sighs* he has my fashion heart!
Without further a due, be in awe of some of the F/W 2010 collection! I’ll take everything in a size 4, size Small PLEASE!
Clean sharp lines, impeccable tailoring, a new modern-spin on an old fave such as suiting! A sleepy-hollow equestrian living in 2010 I believe is the perfect bubble to describe this collection! Thick-knits and short skirts is the mantra and I love it…well at least until about mid-November when it starts to get crrrrrrrazy cold lol!
And while the collection isn’t “all black everything” it might as well be, splash some gray, a bit of camel and a hint of Charcoal and that’s a wrap; but if all black isn’t in, then I have to be out, because this collection is too gorge to pass up!

I spied this yesterday after having a lunch with my parents at Holt Renfrew in the mini Gucci Boutique.  I choaked, stumbled a little bit and then briskly turned my head as if to pretend it was never there in the first place…  A simple peice of fiction in my Gucci imagination.  I tried very hard to forget about it but as soon as I got home I had no choice but to head to gucci.com and see what this magical creation of metal, leather  and lycra was all about.  Well it’s about $9,300.00, so back to the imagination it goes, but it was fun while it lasted.
