Does Burt’s Bees help chapped lips?
Yes! This is my go to every time I get chapped lips. It works better than anything else I have tried. Mine are extremely dry and chapped all year long, and Burt’s Bees is the only stuff that helps that doesn’t have a ton of poison in it!
Why does Burt’s Bees dry my lips?
While the formulation of this product does contain moisturizing ingredients, it also contains ingredients that are known to potentially trigger allergic contact dermatitis of the lips, including flavors and lanolin. This is why I don’t recommend this product for those with dry, chapped lips.
Is Burt’s Bees better than chapstick?
They both are great although I do think Burt’s Bees is a lot more moisturizing. I don’t have to reapply multiple times during the day. Chapstick though, I do have to apply a lot; which can get pretty annoying. Burt’s bees is definitely more moisturizing, and they have better flavors too.
